Quotes from Reviews
...The visual effects are seamless, the sets are well-done and any series that can show a girl realistically throwing fireballs deserves some credit. ... The acting is surprisingly bearable; sure, cringe-worthy moments are pretty common, but for amateur actors they fulfill their roles with remarkable professionalism.(from Australia)
Fun and exciting, a must for Sci-Fi fans, give them a chance and the CoS cast will steal your heart, and you will be happy to let it go, the story is engaging and different. For a first time low budget web series, this one stands streets ahead ;). ...I found the jokes and little head nods to other shows amusing, and the mix of different accents helped to create the feel of a global show.
This series is so amazing! For being an internet series and with people that aren't famous actors it is so fantastic. I love the whole thing. The acting gets smoother and smoother each episode and you get more attached to them too. It's wonderful! A lot of the cast are some of my favorite youtubers and it makes the series just that much cooler. I love how it's free to watch... Thumbs up! (from United States)

3. Da Vinci's Demons is a US/UK drama television series which presents a fictional account of Leonardo da Vinci's early adult life as an artist, inventor, idealist, and intellectual genius which premiered on Fox and Starz networks. The series was conceived and written by David S. Goyer and developed and produced by the BBC's Adjacent Productions and filmed at Bay Studios in Neath, Port Talbot and Swansea in Wales.
Storyline
In a world where thought and faith are controlled, one man fights to set knowledge free.
The secret history of Leonardo da Vinci's tantalizing life reveals a portrait of a young man tortured by a gift of superhuman genius. He is a heretic intent on exposing the lies of religion. An insurgent seeking to subvert an elitist society. A bastard son who yearns for legitimacy with his father.
He finds himself in the midst of a storm that has been brewing for centuries. A conflict between truth and lies, religion and reason, past and future. His aspirations are used against him by the opposing forces of the time—luring him into a game of seduction where those who despise his intellect need him most.
Leonardo must take up the fight against foes who use history to suppress the truth. A hero armed only with genius, da Vinci stands alone against the darkness within, and the darkness without.
Facing an uncertain future, his quest for knowledge nearly becomes his undoing as he explores the fringes of his own sanity. Da Vinci throws himself into his genius and emerges as an unstoppable force that lifts an entire era out of darkness and propels it into light.

Quotes from Reviews
This is genuinely one of the few shows I watch that has my undivided attention. I'm not browsing facebook or the web while watching this which says a lot about this show.
When I watched the trailer of "Da Vinci's Demons" I knew that this title will provide us with a lot of entertainment and action, but only a few historical facts. After watching the first episodes I can confirm this opinion. People searching for the real historical events from the biography of Leonardo certainly will be disappointed. However, those who like me are looking for a breath of freshness and ingenuity consider this TV series to be very successful. First of all, we have the opportunity to see the extraordinary genius inventions come to life and I have to admit that they do so in spectacular way. The story has been enriched by the threads of intrigue and romance that give the history extra flavor. Those critical of this form I refer to historical films, but fans of entertainment at a good level, I encourage to familiarize yourself with this title. Acting is on a really decent level, sound and video as well. Therefore, if anyone is interested in alternative history of Leonardo da Vinci, which is very colorful and creative, or just looking for good entertainment will find this series to be extremely successful. (from Poland)
I must say I have been looking forward to this show since I first laid eyes on the trailer. The acting is superb, the dialog is very well written, the setting is both beautiful yet can seem to have a darkness about it. I enjoyed every minute of it with Da Vinci's quick wit to the manipulation between characters. Though some parts did seem to move quite fast giving the thought "Where the hell did that come from and why so soon?" The only thing I can say could be better is the graphics, I know it's a television show and recreating an entire historic city would prove costly however a bit of love put into it could have make it seem less...cartoon perhaps. None the less it is a small detail in the grand scheme of things. I highly recommend watching this show there will be more greatness to come I am sure. (from United States)

Quotes from Reviews
I watched this while on holiday and was quite literally blown away. I knew a little about the book and what I'd remembered seemed almost identical to what was realised in the film. The story flicks back and forth between Alice in the modern and Alais her medieval counterpoint. The subject matter (the quest for the Holy Grail) could easily have been silly but somehow everything feels very convincing and real. It is a little violent at times but it was a violent period so I suppose it had to be.Overall amazing TV that really took me by surprise. Now I want to read book again. (from United Kingdom)
...I thought it was an entertaining two part series. The show can be thrilling due the religious conspiracies. I can compare to the The Da Vinci Code although it has less action but more story. The story was less about finding out the 'truth' about some grail, but how people are trying to find that 'truth'. In conclusion, I would have to say this show will only interest people who like historical fiction, religious conspiracies, or stuff like that. But it surely entertains. (from Canada)
Still a little amazed!! Loved it!!! I usually skip out on serious shows,at least the kind which is this serious and slightly gory and historical but this!! Gosh, this was perfect.I haven't watched any of the versions but this was mind-blowing mainly because of the characters.I'll admit,Tom Felton was what drew me to this initially but every character here is just...no words to describe because nothing seemed exaggerated, even the lunatics were believable! The bad guys make you hate them and the good guys make you love them, now is that good acting or not??! The main character was likable, not an ounce of Mary-Sueish qualities or hateful moments from my side. :D! And Alais and Guilhem's story left me in tears. And this coming from someone who so does not cry watching something. A definite 'Must watch'! (from United States)
